The Lenovo K900 may be the powerful Intel-powered beast, but the Chinese company is also working on other, more affordable devices targeted towards the mid-range segment.
A plethora of images of the yet to be announced Lenovo S920 have surfaced along with the women-centric Lenovo S820. Th S920 apparently sports a 5.3-inch touchscreen, features a narrow bezel, a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, dual-SIM support, and is juiced by a 2,250 mAh battery. The smartphone will most probably run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean when it launches. The device would be China-only like all of Lenovo’s offerings, at least in the first few months after release.
Also leaked along with the S920 is its sibling, the S820. Lenovo will be primarily aiming the device to capture women’s attention. The smartphone looks eerily similar to some of HTC’s smartphones released last year. No other details about this handset are yet known, but it feature the same quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor.
Both the devices are targeted toward the mid-range smartphone segment, so don’t expect 1080p displays on these. A 720p resolution panel would cater just fine to the market it’s targeting, while still keeping the price within budget range.
