Almost all android phones comes with some pre-installed apps usually in its internal memory. Considering high end smartphones, these apps may not be a problem since they have enough resources like internal memory, RAM and processing power to handle all these apps along with user installed apps. But for low-mid range smart phones, these kind of factory installed apps like Google maps are really making problems since the eat fair amount of RAM as well as phone memory. unfortunately we cant remove these apps by normal procedure. To make it possible, rooting your android device is always a better option since its the fastest and easy method.

2. Open the application (allow root access).
3. Touch the apps tab, scroll to find 'Maps' touch to select.
