Pre-requisites to install & update IMM76L CyanogenMod 9 for HTC Wildfire S

• The phone must be supported by at least 60%, if not closed due to power shortages.
• Import your contacts to the SD card after importing a file. Vcf file is created that contains all the contacts you can later export.

• Taking a backup of the call logs,Messages,Notes is advisable as it get’s erased during the updation process.We can later on Import the following back again.

• Enable USB debugging on your phone. Follow the path  Enter “Settings” and select  “Applications” from where your will see a option “Development “just tick  USB debugging there and USB debugging would be enabled on your mobile device.

• Download the CM9 package,md5sum and google apps
• Connect your phone Via USb cable and copy the files
• Turn off your wildfire S and reboot
• Enter recovery mode by pressing the Volume up +down key with power button simultaneously
• Select ‘Install ZIP from SD card’ and then select ‘Choose ZIP from SD card’ Select the file” “Themed rom ”
• After selecting the file it usually takes 5-7 minutes
•  It is necessary to install Google apps otherwise the Gallery will not be working.
