Root Samsung Galaxy Y Duos using Recovery Mode [2 Mins Rooting Tutorial]

However, this rooting method require your phone to be brought in recovery mode. No need to panic, its very easy and safe. Lets go straight to the tutorial:

How to Root Samsung Galaxy Y Duos?

Requirements

• Make sure your device is charged more than 70%.
• Do not interrupt or disconnect device while the rooting process is going on.
• Don’t Panic!

Required Files/Tools

• Zip File (rooting File)
• USB Cable

Tutorial for Rooting Samsung Galaxy Y Duos using Recovery Mode

Step I: I assume that you had downloaded the above mentioned ZIP file, now copy it to your device’s SD card. Do NOT Extract the zip file.
Step II: Now restart your phone in recovery mode using the following key combination

Power UP + Home Key + Power Key

You will be facing an orange-black screen. Touchscreen will not work, use the volume keys and home key for making selections.
Step III: Just navigate to the Apply Update/zip file option. It will ask for the location of the zip file. Provide with the path.
