If you have ever been stuck not knowing what to write for your next blog post, then you need to
read this. You see, I often sit there, staring at my computer screen and wondering what the heck
I am going to write about next. That is, I used to do that. Now, using these three simple tricks, I
can get a blog post written in under an hour with no muss and no fuss. What is my secret? Well,
read on to find out!
1. Write like you speak – You never run out of things to talk about, do you? I mean, how
often do you get in a conversation with a friend and then totally blank out, unable to
come up with anything to say? Not often, right? Then why would you stare at a blank
screen and think you have nothing to write about? Of course you do! You have plenty.
The point is to write like you speak and everything will come out a lot easier. After all,
no one said you had to sound like a journalist or a robot in your blog posts, right? People
like reading things that come from the heart, and what is more from the heart than the
words that you speak?
2. Just start- If you are staring at a blank screen, that means you are not writing. You need
to just start. Maybe youstart typing song lyrics or the phrase I’m stuck or anything really.
Once you get your fingers moving, you will find it a lot easier to think of something to
write. Don’t believe me? Well, try it yourself! You will be shocked at the improvement
of your posting speed.
3. Mix it up – If you are writing about the same boring subject over and over again you are
going to get burnt out and unable to write. So, mix it up. Write about something a little
off the beaten path. Make it new to yourself and your readers. You don’t have to go crazy
in another direction, but you can look at your blog’s topic from another point of view.
Sometimes that is all it takes to get you back to being productive.
These are simple tips, and yet they will help you to blog better, faster and with less time spent
wasted. If you can just remember them, they will surely help you to get back in your blogging
