Among mobile software platforms, Android is a strong runner. Sophos Labs, a company mobile security software's revealed a list of top malware codes attacking android smartphones as well as other devices like tablets. The company made this analytic based on data collected from mobile phones installed with Sophos Mobile Security (It's a free anti-virus software for android) about 10K smart devices among 118 countries. Here's the list of those 5 top malwares attacking android.
When a paid app is cracked using a publicly available tool, Sophos Mobile Security detects it as Andr/PJApps-C. This means that the application may not be malicious but its more likely to be illegal. Probably It wont make serious problems

BaseBridge malware uses privilege to install additional malicious apps anywhere from internet . These dangerous application may send SMS or access the data network which cost you money.
