Today we have got an interesting app that allows you to automatically save videos from Youtube in Dropbox.
By default, the YouTube has this feature called ‘Watch later’ that allows you to save a video in your ‘Watch later’ list and you can catch them up later when ever you get time. This is slightly different, it sends the video to your dropbox, so that you can access them whenever and where ever you need it.
Videodropper is a simple app lets you send YouTube videos directly to your Dropbox folder, so that you can watch them later at your leisure. It is very useful when YouTube is blocked in your place. So you can send them to dropbox and open where YouTube is blocked. The video gets downloaded to your computer and play the videos.
All you need to do is, just allow Videodropper to authorize your dropbox account. Once that is done, you will be displayed with the free space from your dropbox account. Now there is a text box where you can enter YouTube video URL and it gets sync to dropbox account.
Everytime when you want to send a video to dropbox, you need to enter YouTube video URL in the videodropper text box and it gets sync to dropbox account. If not, you can use their watch later bookmarklet from your browser bookmarks bar. So when you click the watch later bookmarklet when your viewing the YouTube video, then it gets automatically sync to your dropbox account.
