Facebook has once again updated itself and this time the updates are quite awesome. Finally! The old Facebook chat box is back and this time with a boom. Facebook has modified it with some other great features too. Now you can choose if you want to get shown in other’s chat boxes or not. This thing comes really handy when you don’t want to get disturbed during working hours. This thing is similar to the GTalk chat. You can even block people in your “blocked” list to chat from you. You can even go offline which won’t allow anyone to chat with you. Last but not the least you get an option to allow only your friends chat with you which is totally like the normal chat.
To avail these features you have to open up the chat box, then click the “gear” icon on top right. Now go to advanced settings and choose any mode in which you would like to go, according to your need. Another good thing found in this new chat is that it shows people who are online only unlike the previous chat which used to show even the offline people. The new chat is the best Facebook can provide. So enjoy chatting with your friends.
