Microsoft announces 10.6″ Surface Tablet: Full Specification

At an event in Los Angeles, Microsoft has unveiled its own latest tablet named Surface. Microsoft has released its new tablet Surface to give a tough competition to Apple’s iPad and other Android-based tablets. Microsoft will be releasing latest two versions, which will come with 10.6-inch multitouch display the first one is powered by an ARM processor and will run Windows 8 RT – the tablet version of Windows 8 and the second one is powered by an Intel Core processor and will run Windows 8 Pro. Microsoft Surface will feature amazing 10.6 inch ClearType Full HD Display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels with NVIDIA ARM processor. Surface will run on Windows 8 operating system along with Front and secondary camera both are “HD” along with the USB 2.0, microSD, micro HD video and 2 x 2 MIMO antennae for connectivity. This device of Microsoft’s body dimension measures 9.3 mm weighing around 676 g.  Microsoft Surface will be powered by a 31.5 W-h battery and houses two option for its memory 32 GB-64 GB along with Surface RT tablet wrapped in a magnesium case ‘VaporMg’ to go along with it.

Verdict:

Microsoft’s new tablet Surface is a High ending tablet with elegant look and slick design. This device most important feature is that it will run on Windows 8 OS and a GUI which is far better than that of Apple’s iOS. After all, the thing which matters is comfort and preference. We think that this Microsoft device will do a good business in the market and will be successful as it has nice specs and features to support it, let’s hope for the best.
